careers woah.
Today in Pastoral Care , we got this thick book which I first thought was the White pages but was actually this careers book with all these jobs in it. The teacher was discussing how its important to start thinking about our careers. For me , its probably twice or maybe triple more important for me because I'm doing university in the Philippines , so I have to know what I want to do & I have decided (: I want to become a high school/secondary English teacher (: When I was a kid , I wanted to be a doctor because I wanted to help sick people but when I got older , I learnt my strengths & weaknesses and Science & Maths aren't my strong subjects. I considered Nursing but yet again I'm weak at Science & Maths. I always had a passion for English. I loved writing and reading. English to me wasn't a bore. Writing an essay to me wasn't that bad. I rather do that than do a Powerpoint Presentation or make a sculpture. So , my mind is set on teaching =)
I'm a bit frustrated for the fact that today went really slow. Maths was ugh. It went quicker though because we had 20 minutes reading aka : DEAR. Dear stands for Drop Anything And Read , so to me this was a double thumbs up (Y)(Y). Trignometry , ugh. I guess its not that bad compared to other topics , but I'm a forgetful person so I'm bad at formula stuff.
Tomorrow , I'm doing my Powerpoint Presentaion for Elective History. I'm pretty sure THIS TIME because there's only around 5 people left. I plan to go 1st or 2nd because I want to get over it. We had Elective History today and our excursion lesson finished earlier than expected so we had like 5 minutes extra and Miss asked me if I wanted to mine , but I chickened out LOL. Besides , there was only five minutes left , I don't want to rush my presentation anyway lol.
well I'm gonna go off & relax :)
